Blue Monday

It's back to work after a long week-end with my daughter.  She went back to Oklahoma yesterday just in time to deal with all the tornadoes.  One touched down a couple of miles from their home, but fortunately they didn't have any damage.  We did lots of shopping while she was here which is a favorite past time for both of us.

J. Crew Medallion Paisley Pencil Skirt

I was finally able to grab this skirt on popback and so glad I did.  I love it!  Navy, pink, and mint - what's not to love?!  The fabric is great - a textured cotton and fully lined.  It is sold out online, but various sizes popback periodically.

Simplicity

I never rarely wear dresses.  It's not that I don't try.  I just have a weird body that they never fit right on the top and the bottom.  I found this dress at the Tommy Hilfiger Outlet and it worked PLUS it was only $19.99.  That made it perfect in my book.

Anthro Finds & Target Score

As I mentioned in yesterday's post I found a couple of items at Anthro online and called my store to hold them.  I really liked both items and they came home with me.  I also scored the seahorse print shirt at Target.  Super cute and only $23!

I'm not a big Anthro shopper.  Although I think their stuff looks cute on others, most of it is not my style.  In recent history I have purchased exactly 2 items from Anthropologie - this skirt and a pair of white pants with swallows on them.  All that being said I clicked through a dress on Gigi's blog yesterday that took me to the Anthro website where I saw a couple of super cute items on sale.  I called my store and they are holding them for me.  If they are winners, I will share :).
