Can You See Me Now??

I bought and returned these pants a couple of times.  At $15 I finally couldn't resist.  They are definitely bright, but I think the navy and white striped top and camel leather shoes, belt, and handbag toned them down a bit (?).

Despite the color, these pants are really cute and comfortable and Gap has alot of new colors for Spring.  Check them out HERE.  I take a size 2 (my regular J. Crew size) and they are still a little slouchy.

Also, I'm wearing my first pair of Banana Republic Ashley ballet flats.  If you haven't tried them, you should.  I was able to grab these on a day they were running 50% off everything.  They do 40% off alot so get them then.  They are regularly $98 but totally worth it.  I wore them all day today shopping and they were super comfortable.

Denim Doppelganger

I think this shirt is a dead ringer for the J. Crew Western Denim Shirt.  It even has pearlized snaps.  I bought it at JC Penney.  Regular price was $17 - yes, regular price, not sale - but I had a $10 coupon so this baby came home with me for a whopping 7 bucks!

Collection Cafe Capri in Black Tie Silk

These pants were a return to my local store.  They were priced less than the online sale price PLUS 50% off!  I grabbed them so fast it wasn't funny :).  I love, love, love them!

They aren't lined but the silk is a nice weight that doesn't feel clingly.

I bought this top on final sale at Ann Taylor about 6 months ago for $9.99.  I bought these cafe capris from J. Crew on final sale about 2 weeks ago for $17.99.  Amazingly they are e.x.a.c.t.l.y. the same color so I just had to wear them together.

The shoes are Truth or Dare by Madonna and I bought them on sale (of course) at Macy's.  They look alot like the new J. Crew Everly gold mirror metallic pumps, no?  BTW, I didn't pay $255 for them :).

wear 2 necklaces at once over your collar, not under.  Did you get the email this week-end from Gayle (J. Crew) about the "art of the collar"?  I decided to try the layering of necklaces tip.  I liked the idea of tying one of my husband's pocket squares around my collar, but I'd surely look like a dork :).
