Neon Flamingo

This title conjures up images of 1950's Florida.  This outfit conjures up $ signs - very few $ signs.  I stopped in J.C. Penney recently with a friend and was pleasantly surprised.  I liked the new store image.  I also liked some of their Summer offerings and the prices were unbelievable.  I picked up this linen tee for $11 and the neon shorts were $9.60.

April Showers

My friend picked up this tee while she was on vacation in Orlando - for herself.  When I finished berating her for not getting me one too, I called the closest Loft Outlet - 2 hours away - to see if they had more and if they would send it to me.  They were super nice and mailed it free of charge - all for a $17 tee.  J. Crew could take some lessons.  I'm just sayin.

I love the black and white graphic print outfits showing up in all the fashion magazines for Spring/Summer.  I would love to have one of Louis' black and white checkerboard dresses, but they are just slightly out of my price range.  When I saw this skirt on super sale at the Ann Taylor Factory Store, I grabbed it.

On Target For Spring

I haven't been doing much J. Crew shopping lately.  The Gap and now Target have been getting my Spring/Summer dollars.  I ordered some stuff from Target today.  Hopefully, it'll be as cute IRL as on the website.  The prices are certainly cute :).

PS.  I don't know what my deal is with bird prints lately - I REALLY don't like birds in real life - but I seem attracted to them on clothing.

For The Birds

I have done alot of damage at the Gap for Spring.  I am loving their broken-in straight khakis and I have almost every color.  I am also loving their patterned shirts.  I have the ladybug print in both colorways and this bird print that is super cute.
